Ancient artifacts should be highly sought after, but they are not. Right now i have more common trinkets with little or no negative stats, when i can afford a whole wagon full of ancient artifacts at the nomad.simply because i do just fine with no trinkets, and the negative effect is usually significant enough to have me not even bother with the stat swapping. Sure power creep will happen, but you have harder content on the horizon right? Harder difficulty levels planned?Īnyway, without the giant wall of text thread with "hard numbers" ill say the current trinket system is a missed oppertunity to provide a nice metagame aspect of trinket hunting for some really awesome and rare items. I want class based trinkets to modify a skill of that character slightly, without the lame style of negatives completely negating the positive. I want to be running dungeons hunting out awesome trinkets. ![]() Having a negative effect that cancels out the positives makes the trinket as good as no trinket, just a swapping of stats. ![]() I want to see the trinket system reworked.
